La Bri

The Bri

We were won over by this estate and the winemaker Irene Waller, whose rigor is only measured by her passion.

The La Bri estate is located in the famous historic region of Franschhoek.
The vineyard is surrounded by breathtaking mountains, which protect the vines and supply the land with water.

The 15 hectares of La Bri vineyards are cultivated on varied soil types, ranging from sandy loam to deep, rich alluvial soils. This allows them to obtain a range of grape varieties ranging from Cabernet Sauvignon to Viognier.

Each bottle of La Bri wine has its own character and bears its own Cape flower on the label to illustrate it.

The wines of La Bri

Located in Franschhoek, the cradle of South African viticulture. Legend has it that the name La Bri comes from French Huguenots, descendants of Labory. Settled on the valley floor with different soil types ranging from sand to rich alluvial soils. Modernized in 2008, the estate is today one of the most equipped for the production of high-precision wines. Each of its wines is linked to a South African flower symbolizing the characteristics of the wine it dresses.
